Offline training programme on ArcGIS software, 16 – 18.05.2022

A 3- day offline training programme on ArcGIS software has been conducted under R & I project “Electoral Information System for Governance and Developmental Planning: A G-Governance Initiative” funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under RUSA 2.0 at Department of Geography. The resource person of the event was Ms. Niranjana from ESRI India Technologies Limited. The workshop has been divided into two sessions pre and post lunch wherein the pre-lunch sessions covered demonstrations by the expert followed by hands on sessions in post-lunch period. The objective of the workshop has been successfully achieved to acquaint participants to the functionalities of the latest version of the software. The total number of participants benefitted by the workshop are ten which includes faculty members, project fellows, cartographer, research scholars and post-graduate students in the department of Geography, MLSU.
