Hand Held GNSS/GPS receiver (Phablet) Training, 21.02.2022

A one-day training on Hand Held GNSS/GPS receiver (Phablet) was conducted by Department of Geography, MLSU, Udaipur under the RUSA 2.0 R & I and Career Hub Projects awarded to Prof. Seema Jalan on 21st February, 2022. The resource person of the training was Mr. Mustafa, technical expert from M/s. K.K. Sales, Ahmedabad. The objective of this workshop was to train participants with the cutting-edge technology of GPS instruments and their functioning for various applications. The training was organized for faculty members, scholars and post graduate students of Geography and Geology departments in which a total of 42 persons participated. The workshop was divided into two sessions of demonstration followed by hands-on. During the hands-on session participants learned to establish connection in GPS instrument and collected locational information of point, line and polygon features. All the participants were provided certificate of participation by the organizers.
