Training on Handheld GPS/ GNSS Receiver having GAGAN constellation support and Robotic Total Station, 19 – 21.01. 2022

A two-day training on Handheld GPS/ GNSS Receiver having GAGAN constellation support and Robotic Total Station was organized under RUSA 2.0 R & I and Career Hub Projects in Department of Geography, MLSU, Udaipur on 19 – 21 January, 2022. The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Ambrish Shukla, Assistant Manager Application from AllTerra Solutions LLP, Haryana. He conducted a lec-dem session and discussed the working of the instruments. Post lunch the hands-on sessions were conducted for the participants where they were divided into small groups and performed small survey using instruments. The workshop was aimed to learn the latest surveying equipment and GPS. The total number of participants were 32 including faculty members from Geography and Geology departments of MLSU, scholars, PG students of Geography and staff members from Estate Office. The workshop was open for all the faculty members, scholars and PG students for one day and project fellows attended the workshop for all three days.
